Mira Social Care is a Home Care Provider, working closely with Service Users and their families to give them the care and control they want for a better quality of life in the comfort of their own home.

We offer a unique service to help you live your life the way you want from hourly care visits to full live-in support. Our Team of Care Workers are backed by more than 10 years’ experience in providing person centred and quality care services to people of all adult age groups with different disabilities, ensuring that your independence and dignity is always maintained.

Our commitment to quality and passion for caring and respecting your choice has played an important part in our success, making us the care provider of choice. We understand the important of being in control of your own care, so we design our service to support your personal choices all day every year.

Quality

Our service is regularly appraised by the appropriate regulatory bodies – Care Quality Commission, and we are constantly reviewing our operational procedures to ensure that every element of our service and every Staff are fully compliant.

To meet these standards:

  • We will ensure that we have sufficient number staffs who are qualified and experienced.  We can provide a diversity of staffing based on Service User’s cultural and non-cultural needs.
  • Our staffs are regularly monitored, and they undergo regular training to ensure their experience is up-to-date and they are meeting the needs of our Service Users.

Our people & Our Care Workers

Our people are the cornerstone to our service and values. Our staff are exceptional people who are passionate in helping you get the most out of life.

Our Team of Care Workers are carefully selected, DBS checked and then trained by Care Training Partners. After that they undergo extensive shadowing in the field with our Senior Carers and Field Care Supervisor. Only then are they ready to care for you.

Our Carers are the best assets of our service. It is therefore important that we have a robust recruitment and selection process which stands up to scrutiny. Our Care Workers are richly diverse as our Service User base so that we can match you with Care Worker who instinctively understand your culture and lifestyle.

During our recruitment process we ensure that a minimum of 2 references are obtained and verified, we check candidates have not been referred to the list for the Protection of Vulnerable Adults and they have or working towards a level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care. We also make sure that the Carers we recruit are not just Carers with the right qualifications but that they share in our values of passion for caring and respect.

All our Care Workers always have the full support and back-up of the office team, making sure that the quality service we promise are adhered to. We are proud to say that they are doing a great job.
